South African Breweries is calling on ambitious graduates to apply for the DynamX Trainee Programme 2027, a 24-month journey built to grow technical capability, cross-functional exposure, and real career momentum within one of South Africa’s most iconic companies.
About the Programme
DynamX is a highly competitive 24-month programme structured around fixed-term contract phases, with progression into each phase determined by robust evaluations. Trainees move through 6-month rotational cycles, gaining hands-on experience across different teams within their business area. The programme follows the 70-20-10 development model: 70% of learning comes from challenging real-world projects, 20% from developmental relationships, and 10% from formal coursework and training.
This is more than an internship — it’s a launchpad. On successful completion of the 24 months, trainees become eligible to apply for permanent roles across the business, opening the door to a long-term career with SAB and AB InBev.

Who Should Apply
SAB is looking for graduates from a range of disciplines, including but not limited to:

- People (Psychology or HR-related degrees)

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent tertiary qualification in one of the fields above
- No more than 2 years of total full-time formal working experience by the programme start date (internships, vacation work and short-duration contracts do not count)
- Completed bachelor’s degree from a recognised tertiary institution by the programme start date, achieved within the required timeframe
- Full citizenship and legal work authorization in South Africa
- Willingness to be geographically mobile within South Africa
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with the ability to adapt quickly to new systems
