About the role
As a Technician C&I, you’ll take ownership of maintaining and optimising an allocated plant system, working within Eskom’s Maintenance department at one of its major power stations. The role sits at the intersection of technical maintenance and quality assurance, requiring someone who can balance hands-on diagnostic work with procurement oversight, staff mentorship, and project supervision.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and optimise the performance of an allocated system
- Verify that the correct components, spares, and services are procured for maintenance work
- Assist with modifications aimed at improving plant reliability
- Advise and support the development of junior staff
- Perform project and contract supervision activities
- Comply fully with the permit to work system
What you’ll need
Qualification
- National Diploma or National N Diploma (Technical)
Experience
- Relevant experience in a maintenance environment
- Completion of P1 and P2 Experiential Training
