About the Role
The successful candidate will join Winding Technologies’ training and development programme, working alongside experienced technicians and engineers to gain practical, real-world electrical experience. The role is structured to complement ongoing theoretical studies with genuine workplace exposure, helping trainees build the competencies needed to progress in the heavy current electrical field. Candidates must be available to start immediately, as this is an urgent placement.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform reasonable duties as assigned in support of the training and development programme
- Assist technicians and engineers with heavy current electrical tasks
- Gain practical exposure to transformers, motors, and industrial electrical systems
- Support day-to-day operations within a safety-compliant working environment
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
- Currently studying towards a Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Solid theoretical knowledge of electrical engineering principles
- Eligible for P1 & P2 workplace training
- Must be available to start immediately
