What You Will Do
Working under supervision, you will:
- Carry out technical tasks including installation, commissioning, maintenance and evaluation of customer equipment and systems
- Support customers remotely and onsite, providing 2nd and 3rd level user support when issues arise
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of internal tools, equipment, processes and data repositories
- Assist with estimation, planning and review of technical tasks that support project acquisition, negotiation and management
- Take part in technical design and development of service offerings, and help manage sub-contractors and monitor delivery
- Support service processes to keep performance and efficiency at a high standard
- Participate in training, including self-study, computer courses and on-the-job training, and share knowledge within the Customer Service Team
Please note that the role mainly supports the Cape Town and Port Elizabeth region, but you may be required to support other regions.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or Clinical Engineering
- Valid driver’s licence
- Own vehicle (advantageous)
- Ability to work overtime during the week, on weekends and on public holidays
- High performer with an analytical mindset
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Must be a South African citizen, preferably from a designated diversity group
