Valterra Platinum is inviting applications for an Engineering Learnership Programme (18.2 – Unemployed) at its Mototolo Mine. This is a hands-on opportunity for energised, curious problem-solvers to gain technical experience and build a career in engineering within the mining industry.

Programme Offering
The learnership includes structured off-the-job and workplace-based training. Successful completion results in a nationally recognised Artisan qualification.
Minimum Entry Requirements
Applicants must meet the following:
Matric with Mathematics (not Mathematics Literacy), Physical Science and English, all with a minimum 40% pass, OR N2 or higher with subjects specific to the chosen discipline:
- Boilermaker Plater: Plating & Structural Steelwork / Welders Theory and Plating Structural & Steelwork Drawings, Mathematics & Engineering Science
- Electrical: Electrical Trade Theory / Electrotechnology / Electrotechnics and Industrial Electronics, or Engineering Drawings, Mathematics & Engineering Science
- Diesel Mechanic: Diesel / Motor Trade Theory, Engineering Drawings, Mathematics & Engineering Science
- Auto Electrician: Motor Electrical Trade Theory, Industrial Electronics, Mathematics & Engineering Science
OR NCV Level 4 in the appropriate trade, with all subjects passed at a minimum of 40%.
