Eskom is offering four opportunities for young South Africans to join its Learner Technician Programme at Arnot Power Station, focused on the mechanical discipline. This is a structured Learning Programme position (Task Grade TR2) combining institutionalised and on-the-job training within Eskom’s Maintenance & Engineering department.
Successful applicants will gain hands-on exposure to Eskom’s operations across its various divisions, developing practical technical skills alongside theoretical grounding. This is a valuable entry point into the power generation and energy sector for candidates who have completed their mechanical engineering studies and are ready to build a career in one of South Africa’s most critical industries.
Minimum Requirements
- Fully completed S4 / S5 (Mechanical)
- Must be a South African citizen
