About the programme
Successful applicants will go through Eskom’s recruitment process and, if selected, be placed in Operations roles across the utility’s various divisions. The programme is structured to develop competent, well-rounded plant operators equipped to support Eskom’s power generation operations.
Key responsibilities
The successful incumbent will be afforded institutionalised and on-the-job training as part of the Learner Plant Operator development programme.
Minimum requirements
Qualifications (one of the following):
- Grade 12 with Maths 50%, Physical Science 50% and English 40%
- N3 with Maths 50%, Science 50% and English 40%
- NCV Level 4 with Maths 50%, Science 50% and English 40%
- National N4/N5 Certificate with Trade Subjects
- National N6 Certificate with Trade Subjects
