This is a structured apprenticeship within the Generation Business Unit, offering institutionalised, on-the-job training designed to develop qualified, competent artisans equipped to support Eskom’s operations across its divisions.

About the programme
Successful applicants will be placed into Eskom’s Operations across various divisions following the recruitment process. Training is institutionalised and provided on the job, giving learners practical, hands-on exposure to the trade alongside theoretical development.
Minimum requirements
Applicants must hold one of the following:
- National N6 Certificate with Trade Subjects (Mechanical / Electrical / Control and Instrumentation)
- National N4/N5 Certificate with Trade Subjects
- Grade 12 with Mathematics 50%, Physical Science 50% and English 40%
- N3 with Mathematics 50%, Science 50% and English 40%
- NCV Level 4 with Mathematics 50%, Science 50% and English 40%
