Eskom, certified as a Top Employer South Africa for the second consecutive year, is opening applications for a range of Graduate in Training, Engineer in Training, Technician in Training, and Internship positions based at Majuba Power Station in Mpumalanga. These opportunities form part of Eskom’s Learning Programme, offering institutionalised, on-the-job training designed to build the next generation of skills across the organisation’s operations.

Positions available:

  • Graduate in Training – HR (L7): Requires a fully completed degree in HR or Behavioural Sciences.
  • Graduate in Training – Logistics (L7): Requires a fully completed degree in Transport Management or Logistics.
  • Graduate in Training – Quantity Surveying (L7): Requires a fully completed degree in Quantity Surveying.
  • Graduate in Training – Integrated Business Improvement (IBI) (L7): Requires a fully completed degree in HR, Psychology, or Social Sciences.
  • Graduate in Training – Finance (L7): Requires a fully completed degree in Finance or Financial Accounting.
  • Internship – Finance (L6): Requires a fully completed diploma in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
  • Engineer in Training (L7, x2 posts): Requires a fully completed engineering degree — B Eng or BSc Eng in Mechanical, Electrical, Process, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Technician in Training (TR2, x2 posts): Requires a fully completed diploma in Electrical, Power Electronics, Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Electronics, Measurement Control and Instrumentation, or Information Technology/Data Engineering.

All positions are internship-based, market related in remuneration, and open to South African citizens only. Successful applicants will go through a structured recruitment process and, if appointed, will be placed within Eskom’s Operations across various divisions.
